Seafood for Hungry Boys; straight from Poseidon’s Platter.. for our pleasure!
What can I say? The use of alliteration makes any individual sound intelligent. Oops, I did it again! Lol 🙂 (insert obligatory smiley face here!). I am a Foodie! Always have been. Most of my years in Sri Lanka were spent in Wattala, on the island’s west coast. Even when I went to Colombo, I would be drawn towards the coastal region. This was mainly because of my passion for seafood. Seafood is not only a passion. It is an obsession. I have at least one item of seafood a day. I can’t function without this. I remember yelling, shouting and crying as a Kid, pestering my father to take me to the…

Have an Affair in 1960s Rome!
I met author Gill Paul by accident. A beautiful woman with a cheerful smile and a warm personality, she was introduced to my by Karel Bata, a friend of Iain Clark (video producer and one of my best friends). You see.. Karel worked on the production crew for the pilot episode of the Emmanuel Ray Show, which I co produced with Iain. We became friends and he invited me to his birthday party at The Heights Bar in St George’s Hotel, Mayfair. And that is where I met Gill. Our conversation was brief but interesting. We got on like a house on fire and she told me about her latest…

Dining with Mr. Clark!
Dinner with my cameraman Iain Clark at Carluccio’s, London St Pancras. I arrived at the crowded restaurant to find Iain, who likes privacy, was seated in the corner of corners, literally at the very end of the venue. I’m a bit claustrophobic and wanted to move. But the restaurant was fully packed and there was a long queue of customers at the entrance. Honestly, why can’t they go elsewhere? Thankfully, the manager Tim managed to find us the perfect spot outside, under the heaters. Well, I exaggerated my claustrophobia and lied that I might pass out! It worked and Tim was ever so helpful, making sure the food arrived on time.…
