Confessions of Emmanuel Ray on B Magazine!
Was bored at home and stumbled across this when browsing through some of my recent press. Here’s a mini Q&A I did during Fashion Week Gibraltar. They’ve even published tons of images. Sweet! I wore custom made shirts by Isaac Kotlyarevsky and trousers and accessories from Retro Days (yet to launch). We had such a great time in April and it seems like it was yesterday. Time does fly! Although I was starting to feel my depression was about to make an unwelcome visit, I threw myself into my work and did everything I was supposed to do. It truly was a great event and I am honoured…

With Friends at The Shakespeare, our local pub.
My favourite pub in our neighbourhood is The Shakespeare. Run by the eccentrically fabulous Oscar Toma, the pub is a much loved hang out for locals, city workers and drifting alcoholics! All fun and games, the moment you step into The Shakespeare, you instantly feel relaxed and laid back. In the picture above, you see artist and illustrator Heiner Radau who interns at Alexander McQueen, Myself (wearing Isaac Kotlyarevsky!), writer and copy editor Joanna Caveney, her mum Pauline (a brilliant painter) and her friend Pat. And here’s…

Tasty Super Raoul Stew!
This delicious dish was prepared by our handyman Raoul Sanchez. I’ve named it Super Raoul Stew! An English version of the Valencian classic Arroz Caldoso, this dish contains rice, mixed vegetables, some spinach, thyme and a few other exotic spices from the local market Raoul sourced himself. Add his amazing Love & Soul chicken to this, and you have a mesmerising meal which my friend Enrique Rios and I enjoyed today, for lunch. Doesn’t he look good in this smart shirt by Isaac Kotlyarevsky?

Joanna Caveney in The Blurry Emmanuel!
My friend Joanna Caveney is a brilliant writer and copy editor. Apart from being executive editor at PinkVox.com. She is also sunlights as a lifeguard at Hampstead Heath ladies pond. Joanna is a male version of myself and shares the same attitude I have towards life; being exactly who you are and living life on your own terms! This picture was taken at Golden Lane Members Club, Barbican and we decided to name it The Blurry Emmanuel as I am well, blurred and out of focus. Scroll below for what we’re wearing! OK, and now for the the obligatory credits… lol 🙂 Joanna Caveney wears Hat by Katerina Kudryashova, decorated with sequins and…

Heiner Radau’s Unique Items.
The little suitcase that accompanied Emmanuel Ray to Gibraltar belongs to artist and illustrator Heiner Radau. Emmanuel fell in love with it when Heiner showed him his private collection of unique items. Purchased around the mid 1840s by Heiner’s great-grand mother in Berlin, it has been around the world and surprisingly, is still in good condition. The clutch bag is from the 1940s and went perfectly with the first outfit Emmanuel Ray wore during Fashion Week Gibraltar. He teamed it up with this red & white striped shirt with Retro tie detail, custome made for him by Isaac Kotlyarevsky. The belt and shoes are from Retro Days collection. Heiner’s suitcase…
