Burlesque, Cocktails and Cabaret in The City!
I’ve been hanging out with Burlesque divas and saucy singers, and flirting with gorgeous trans sexuals at Rouge Bar, London’s brand new Cabaret and Cocktail bar!

Situated close to Barbican underground station, it is also the first ever Cabaret Bar in London’s financial district. With live music and performers.

Managing director Lauren Steadman herself is a musician and is one third of the entertainingly funny band The Frantastics! She wanted to open a venue where people could enjoy classy and glamourous Burlesque acts without having to be obliged to buy food or sit down for a three-course meal. Thus, Rouge was born. And Rouge it is, with its red interiors, vintage style decor and great music adding bygone glamour to this intimate basement venue in the city.

I went with my friend Louis Szikora, a massage therapist who also works wonders with his i phone camera! We had a great time tossing back cocktails, champagne and enjoying the live acts; Ruby Deshabillé, Antonia Wood and Lola Rouge.

Pop over to Rouge with friends or drop in for after-work drinks with colleagues and enjoy the entertainment. They currently open on Thursdays (5pm-3am), Fridays (5pm-3am) and on Saturdays (8pm-3am).

And here’re two more photos of Lola Rouge. She’s very talented, entertaining and also funny!
