Born and raised in Wisconsin, Garek arrived in New York in 2010. Garek’s first single ‘Save The Queen’ has earned him write-ups in LOGO’s NewNowNext, EQ Music and Posture Magazine, as well as a Glammy award nomination for “Video of the Year.” He is also the co-writer of Billboard Soundtrack’s Number 1 hit “Surf’s Up” from Disney’s “Teen Beach Movie.” His music can be described as Industrial Electro, perhaps a modern take on Electro-Industrial music from the 80s.
